Jeremy Staudenmaier, ACI’s director of product management, has been recognized for his contributions to the valuation industry by Collateral Risk Network (CRN), which has named him a 2022 Valuation Visionary.
Recently, Jeremy sat down with Joan Trice, founder of CRN, on the Appraisal Buzzcast podcast on the award and his vision for the future of the appraisal industry. “There are many exciting and challenging changes in the industry-for instance, while they’ve always been around desktops and hybrid, appraisals are ‘about to get real’. ACI is hyper-focused on the appraiser and how to make them more efficient and effective at their job and technology has a crucial role in that. Improving the appraiser’s connectivity to the end user is essential to be successful.”
Commenting on the award, Robert Karraa, president of First American Data & Analytics, ACI’s parent, said, “Jeremy is a seasoned industry veteran who has made a significant impact on ACI since joining our company, and the valuation industry throughout his career. He is an innovative product developer and team leader with a proven track record of building high-impact, customer-focused products.”
Throughout his career, Jeremy has made several significant contributions to the appraisal and valuation industry. Prior to joining ACI, he was the collateral policy lead at Fannie Mae when the GSEs launched the Uniform Appraisal Dataset and Forms Redesign project. He also led training during the roll out of Fannie Mae’s Collateral Underwrite.
Earlier, Jeremy oversaw the retail and home equity appraisal operations, appraisal management company vendor management and appraisal compliance programs at Wells Fargo.
In his current role at ACI, he is focused on the design, development and execution of creative software solutions to drive the digital transformation of the valuation industry in a forward-thinking direction.
Jeremy is the third First American executive to win the CRN Visionary Award. ACI Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing George Opelka received the award in 2016 and First American Mortgage Solutions Chief Appraiser and Vice President of Valuations Alan Hummel received the award the following year in 2017.
