This summer, the ACI team was back in Las Vegas for Valuation Expo. Celebrating Valuation Expo’s 20th year, the expo showcased valuable learning and networking opportunities. Using gPAR Forms

Are you looking to expand your business with non-lending assignments? ACI’s suite of gPAR (General Purpose Appraisal Report) forms are a great solution and are available in your software. 

If you are using a gPAR form, it can be used as an exterior only or an interior and exterior (full) appraisal. At the bottom of the signature page, you can check the box that best fits your needs.


About Me: I have been with ACI for 7 years. I spent the first 4 years with the OneCall team providing customer support before moving to Product Management. I was born in Orange County, CA and moved to Las Vegas at 15. I then moved to Florida where I met my husband and currently reside in Daytona Beach with our 4 year old daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and one of our favorite things to do is go to Disney World, which warranted us being passholders. Growing up, I wanted to be a marine biologist. I still can tell species of marine life apart to this day, especially marine mammals.

Hobbies: I enjoy being a mermaid. I have two tails that are fully swimmable and use them in some of Florida’s natural springs. I am part of a group of pirates that does a LOT of charity work. My friend and I will usually go as mermaids to some charity events, but will don pirate gear instead if the event isn’t mermaid friendly. Our favorite event is when Surfers for Autism comes to Flagler Beach. The smiles on faces always makes any charity event worth it.

Movies: Haunted Mansion (the newest one), Down Periscope is a VERY close #2. I tend to gravitate towards sci-fi and fantasy.

TV: NCIS (original, not spin-offs) 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lonestar, Only Murders In the Building, Doctor Who, Star Trek. I adore Bluey and will watch with my kid any time she has it on. I started binge watching Vikings and intend on watching Vikings Valhalla after. The only genre I won’t watch is horror.

Books: Sci-Fi/Fantasy. I LOVE the Game of Thrones books. I am currently reading a book by Rupert Holmes and enjoy his writing style. I also have the Fourth Wing to read once I finish my current book.

Sports: NHL! Vegas Golden Knights! I want to go to one of their home games someday.

Music: My playlists are wide ranging and can go from Mongolian Folk Metal to Frank Sinatra, classic rock, or pop. I’m not a big fan of Rap and most R&B, but there are a few I like. Lately, I’ve been heavily focused on Ruelle and Svrcina.

Food: I am a sucker for pasta. I also make my own sushi, which is a favorite dish in my house.

UAD & Forms Redesign

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac just announced Wednesday, March 29, 2023, that the UAD & Forms Redesign project has moved into its “Roll Out” phase. This is an enormous project for the entire mortgage industry and for the appraisal profession.

What does this mean? The UAD & Forms Redesign project began in 2018 as mandated by the Federal Housing Finance Agency. The GSE’s have been in a planning stage since then, engaging with industry stakeholders and establishing the requirements for what the new UAD will look like. Moving into the “Roll Out” phase means that the GSE’s are ready to roll the specifications out to the market. The entire industry now has access to the final set of requirements for building the systems required to support the new dataset and forms.

ACI has been at the forefront of these efforts from the very beginning, contributing feedback and providing consultation as the leading appraisal technology provider in the industry. We are actively engaged in the planning and implementation of these specifications. The GSE’s have communicated that the “Roll Out” phase will be a “multiyear effort” and there is no immediate impact to the daily activities and operations of practicing appraisers, AMCs, lenders, and other stakeholders. ACI is committed to ensuring that our customers are prepared for these significant changes and equipped with solutions that will improve how they do business. As we navigate through this process with you, we will provide periodic updates and information to help you prepare for the upcoming changes. The entire ACI team is excited about this project and to be working alongside our customers.

Blurry Images in Your PDF Files?

Blurry images in an appraisal report usually result in larger than normal PDF/MISMO files.

To resolve this issue in PDF files:

  • Open ACI Report
  • Go to Options -> Environment -> Printing -> ACI PDF

Move the slider for JPEG Quality from low to medium (middle tick) and then click OK. Test the PDF by creating a new file.

If the images are still blurry or the resulting file size is large, go to the Printing menu and verify that “Use Fast Image Printing” is selected. Selecting this option will allow the slider bar shown above to be moved to “High“.

: At ACI, I am responsible for the daily oversight of our OneCall Support Team. I was born and raised in the Philadelphia, PA area and lived there for 32 years. I moved to Palm Coast, FL and also started working for ACI in 2008. I met my husband at ACI and we are happily married for 10 years! I am mom to 5 daughters and Grammie to 1 grandson.
