Justin Alexander is the Director of Collateral Strategy & Innovation at Fannie Mae, managing a team that focuses on modernizing the home valuation process. Responsible for testing new technologies and ways to enhance collateral risk management, Justin’s team assesses ways to leverage tools such as geographic information system (GIS) data and image recognition. Justin began his industry career with over 17 years of appraisal experience and spent the last 7 years focusing on data analysis, risk strategy, and appraisal modernization, Before Fannie Mae, Justin worked at First American Financial Corporation, building and enhancing products. Before that, he worked at CoreLogic, leveraging his industry experience as a fraud and risk strategist and industry solutions advisor.


Alan Hummel, SRA, is a Certified General Real Property Appraiser whose practice over 39 years has provided clients with solutions to a broad variety of real estate issues. He has been named by Inman News as one of the top 100 most influential people in real estate and was named the 2017 Valuation Visionary by the Collateral Risk Network. Alan is also an AQB Certified USPAP instructor. He has served as the National President of the Appraisal Institute, and as an officer of The Appraisal Foundation, has testified before the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives on appraisal issues, and continues to be invited to speak nationwide to banking associations and numerous real estate industry groups on valuation trends and standards of practice.


Chris Hunt leads all aspects of the Appraisal Management business as International Valuation Group’s Chief Operating Officer. While working on maintaining and improving IVG’s industry leading AMC performance and service, Chris also works alongside IVG’s IT and Data team to help automate processes, refine and create new operational reporting dashboards, and leads IVG’s business intelligence and performance management initiatives.

Chris is passionate about appraisal modernization and is excited to help advance the appraisal industry through partnerships with key stakeholders and industry players alike. With over a decade of field experience and 10+ years working at Fannie Mae and a few of the industry’s largest Appraisal Management Companies, Chris has had direct involvement working with and building many of today’s most widely used valuation technology tools and processes aiming to improve the appraisal industry every step of the way. Chris and his wife Holly live in Rocklin, CA with their two daughters and enjoy everything Northern California has to offer.


Jeremy Staudenmaier brings nearly 20 years of valuation experience and knowledge to his role as Senior Managing Director of ACI, an industry leader in real-estate valuation technology. As head of ACI, Jeremy emphasizes the customer experience to drive product solutions and business strategy. Jeremy is a certified appraiser, and prior to joining ACI, operated his own appraisal business for nearly a decade and held various leadership positions at GMAC ResCap, Fannie Mae, and Wells Fargo.
